This notice describes how Stewardmark, LLC ("Stewardmark," "we," "us"), a California limited liability company based in Berkeley, California, handles information collected through this website and our client portal.

Information we collect

Website analytics. We use basic analytics to understand how visitors use this site, such as pages viewed and general location. We do not use advertising pixels or sell visitor data.

Client portal sign-in. Access to our client portal is protected by Cloudflare Access. When you sign in with your Google or other identity provider account, we receive your name and email address so we can verify who you are. We do not receive your password.

Client intake and engagement information. When you complete our intake form or work with us, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, contact details, organization, and information about your project or matter.

Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and to understand which pages people read. We do not use advertising cookies or advertising pixels, and we do not permit third parties to use this site to build advertising profiles. Our analytics provider may set a cookie to distinguish one visit from another. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site works without them.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a Do Not Track signal. There is no common industry standard for how to interpret it. We do not track visitors across other websites or over time for advertising, so our behavior does not change based on the signal. We do not permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about our visitors across other sites.

How we use it

We use this information to provide and manage our consulting services, respond to inquiries, secure the client portal, and meet our legal and professional obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Phone numbers and text messaging

If you provide a mobile number, we may contact you by text about your engagement. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not share or sell consumer personal information, including phone numbers and SMS consent, to third parties or affiliates for marketing or lead generation purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Service providers

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate this site and our business, including Cloudflare (website hosting and portal security), Google (identity sign-in and business email), and similar infrastructure providers. They process information on our behalf to deliver those services.

Retention and security

We keep client information for as long as needed to serve the engagement and to satisfy legal, professional, and recordkeeping obligations, then dispose of it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit and multi-factor authentication on the systems we control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You may contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, to request a correction, or to request deletion, subject to our legal and professional retention obligations.

If you are a California resident

Stewardmark is below the thresholds that make the California Consumer Privacy Act apply to us. We honor its core requests regardless. Write to privacy@stewardmark.ai and you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, write to privacy@stewardmark.ai and we will delete it.
